More about me...

I am a Bristol-based playwright and poet. After studying film and literature, then creative writing at Sheffield Hallam University, I became a community development consultant, working with diverse communities across Yorkshire. I went on to direct several community theatre performances in Bradford, before relocating to Bristol to work as a copywriter and English teacher. I took part in the 2014 Critical Mass programme and Red Snapper was developed during this time.

I have produced a set of poems based on overheard conversations on Bristol public transport, and I am now working on two new plays: Back Home, on the theme of sexuality and human rights in Jamaica, and Morant Bay, about the 1865 uprising.

Red Snapper

My debut play about Jamaica in the summer of 1962 and the lives of five women.
